I got an electric toothbrush for Christmas and I've never used one before.  I've found since I've started using it that everytime I brush my teeth it tickles my nose like crazy when i'm brushing my front teeth to the point where, more or less without fail, i'll sneeze once or twice whilst brushing my teeth

I wondered if this happens to anyone else?!

I have never sneezed by using an electric toothbrush before but many that's because I have used them for nearly all my life I don't know they may have made me sneeze while I was little but not now. Is it a fast moving one?

I've been using a sonic toothbrush for like 10 years now, but initially it made my whole face super itchy.    You get used to it though...it'll stop eventually!

You are not alone! I totally thought of Doctor Who when I read that. I was wondering if it lit up and went "weeooweeooweeoo."

I used to use an electric toothbrush and I definitely got the whole face being itchy thing, but I don't recall it ever making me sneeze. I can tell you it would have made me way more interested in brushing my teeth! I have seen a few videos on Youtube of people using electric toothbrushes to induce by placing them right on their nose though and I think I've heard one or two people mentioning using that method of inducing on here a few years ago. It makes sense that it could make a person sneeze if it's powerful enough of a vibration to get into their sinuses.

And careful with those sonic toothbrushes, they tend to malfunction when there's a hair dryer around :)

Aww  that's so great! Haha personally, I've used an electric toothbrush for a few years now and it's never made me sneeze, but I'm able to use it in such a manner by putting the non-bristle end next to my nose and turning it on. :blushing:

It's currently low on battery, though, so it's not vibrating enough :(
