So I finally reached 200 posts today after about five years on the forum or something like that. I'm feeling like after all this time it's time to give back.
I'm a fairly serious writer; I'm taking a degree in professional writing and have been published a few times, but I've rarely taken any serious stabs at sneezefic. I'd really like to start experimenting with that, but I really don't know what to start with. So I'm going to open a thread for requests.

Basically, this is an exercise for me as a writer to expand my horizons and little and practice writing. So I'm going to try to write a short fanfic or story every week. Try being the key word; it's somewhat likely that I'll forget about it completely or just not have time for it. But I'll try. So please feel free to either message me with requests or just reply in this thread. I'd like to keep these short; probably around 1000 words, so try to keep any requests simple, but if anyone has anything bigger they'd like to see, let me know and I'll consider it. No promises.

I won't promise that I'll write every request I recieve, but I'll certainly attempt anything I feel comfortable with. I prefer male sneezing from allergies, but I am willing to write about colds and about female sneezing.

There are probably other fandoms I could do, but those are are the major ones I'm probably most comfortable with. Just ask. I don't watch any anime or reality TV, but I do read a lot, so yeah.

I'm also very willing to write original work, so if you have charactors or just a scenario in mind, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Just remember- no promises, and I'll probably just pick and choose the requests that I would find more fun or easy to write myself- don't take offense if I don't get to yours. I'm just really selfish and lazy. No big deal. Keep badgering me if it's really important to you.

Please help me out with this. Even a short prompt can be all I need.

And once I get started (if I ever do), I'll probably just post them all in the same thread, so be sure to check it.

I'll totally admit that there's something I really love about allergic!Wilson (from House). I'll also admit that you can feel free to ignore this, as I really don't deserve to have MORE fic written for me. (I spend all my time on the computer, so whenever someone offers stuff, I'm always around to yell "Me!")

Also, I cannot for the life of me remember who wrote something sfy with Carl from Lie to Me- but when they did this they Seriously tripped a trigger for me for seeing more.

I tend to lean more on the side of colds generally as far as what I tend to write, but... I absolutely have no preference with reading a fic.

I love me some Harry Potter...especially Lupin or Sirius. Allergies are great...to anything, though Lupin and dust is always nice

Ah, forgot prompt ideas!

-Cal is allergic to something or has trouble analyzing someone due to an allergy related complication

-Cal is sick and in denial and Gillian or Ria care for him

-Cal's accent corrolating with his sneezes (I love his Cockney accent! )

-Cal's sneezing interfering with an investigation

-Cal discovers a random new allergy (while interrogating a suspect or just while going to the Lightman Group's workplace)


I hope those prompts give you a bit of inspiration. I would love love love a Lie to Me fic, but if you don't have the time or just don't wanna do it, you certainly aren't obligated.

hehehe.... I just Couldn't remember for the life of me, even though I have read and re-read and re-read them. Evidently I was too focused on the of the drabbles rather than things like "who wrote this". lol!

Thanks for all the imput, everyone, and please do keep the requests coming. The more specific you are about plot, the more likely I'm going to be to actually write it, just because I don't really have the luxury of spending much time fleshing out a storyline for myself. If I'm going to write sneezefic, I want it to be something that I know other people are going to enjoy, otherwise I'm wasting my time, so if you give me really specific things to write about, it will be a lot easier. Non-specific is okay too of course, but I'm just less likely to be inspired.

Anyway, since a lot of people seem interested, I'm probably going to start with a Lie To Me fic, but it likely won't be up until next week sometime. I appologize if anyone has their hopes up for somthing epic from me; the truth is I have to prioritize my time and this week it's just not practical for me to spend any time writing sneezefic. Eventually though, it will happen. Keep badgering me and I will work harder.

- Sirius and Remus (or all of the Marauders? Not important...) are in the Restricted section of the Library reading a particularly nasty and dusty old book... And Sirius must help Remus stifle so they don't get captured by Filch.
